Who we are:
Echotrope
is a nomadic arts organization located in Omaha NE / Council
Bluffs IA, and was founded by the wife and husband team of Jody
Boyer and Russ Nordman.
Echotrope aims to expand the presence of experimental film, video and
new media art in the midwest. Echotrope travels throughout the area curating
work in traditional and non-traditional media venues alike. We work collaboratively
with other organizations such as the bemisUNDERGROUND
at the Bemis Center
for Contemporary Arts, The
University Nebraska-Omaha Art Gallery, and Filmstreams
to organize screenings and art exhibitions of contemporary media work.
We are seeking submissions for the 2006 - 2007 season.
For submission information, please see our submissions
